JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (July 28, 2007) -- David Pereda won 1st place in the mystery-thriller category of the Lighthouse Book Awards for his manuscript, Who Killed Fidel Castro?.

Barbara Moore, acquiring editor for Midnight Ink, was the judge in this category of the Lighthouse Book Awards. Midnight Ink is an imprint of Llewellyn Publications.
